One grand prize winner will receive a 11.1 mega-pixel Fuji S100 FS Camera.

Top three images from each category will be printed on 20x30 foam board for display at the Mid-America Photography Symposium.

Anyone is eligible to enter the Symposium competition. Name, full address, and e-mail address (if any) must be on the back of each print. Photos with incomplete information will be disqualified.

You may submit up to three prints maximum. Prints should not be mounted, or framed. Prints must be between 8x10 in. (min.) and 8x12 in. (max.) with no border greater than 1/4 in. Prints must be submitted by the photographer by mailing to: MAPSym, 1722 N. College Ave Ste C 129, Fayetteville AR 72703 or in person at a Bedford Camera & Video prior to the May 1, 2009 deadline. All types of photographic prints will be acceptable, including commercially made, digitally produced, and hand colored (transparent oils) prints.

Please, ensure you have a duplicate print or negative, photographs will not be returned. MAPSym will not be responsible for damaged or misplaced photographs and assumes no liability. Submissions are ranked by a panel of judges chaired by John Baltz, 2009 MAPSym host. All panel decisions are final. 20x30 prints of the winning images will be given to entrants after all exhibits are complete. This may be up to a year after completion of the competition. Entrants must provide a high resolution digital file of the image for the purpose of printing the 20x30 when selected as a competition finalist. For more information email info@mapsym.org.
